The Project
This was a project commissioned by the Housing Development Board of Singapore. The project involved providing a centralized Map Service which would allow the HDB customers to search for HDB properties easily and quickly on a map.
The Challenge
The challenge was to integrate the information regarding resale properties, car park locations, renewal programs, industrial properties and shopping areas to the general public. The map service had to provide all this information and more in a user friendly and easy to navigate manner.
The Solution
The team had knowledge of web-based mapping services and architecture. They provided consultancy and engineering support to HDB for the project. The map service is up and working successfully, providing a host of information to the public about HDB and its infrastructure and projects.
